Another FUN Christmas look on the blog today! I wanted to share this little vintage Christmas deer vignette with you guys. This vintage deer has been in a few different looks on the blog … And I knew he would want to be part of a Christmas look as well. This time of year he is basically one of Santa’s reindeer! This deer was a vintage find & I just had to have the little guy when I spotted him in an antique booth. If you know me & you know the blog you know that for every season & for every room I love to give inspiration through different looks that I felt inspired to create. This look is a fun & different way to style a small cabinet for the holidays…

If I’m being honest I love adding winter greens all over our house for the holidays! So I loaded up a bunch of real winter greens in this vignette. It adds a lot of texture and dimension to have the greens laid across the dresser & in the glass jars. Of course, it isn’t Christmas without a few ornaments … One way to display ornaments aside from on your tree is in your vignettes or on your shelves in different vases and jars. These ornaments are from Target and you can find them HERE.

Our Christmas deer needed a festive touch to him, so I decided to add this artic pom garland [HERE] to his antlers! Anyone else love pom garlands? I can’t resist how cute and easy they are for decorating. We have a few other strands of the garland that I plan to use on our trees and in other Christmas vignettes. Between the ornamentsm the greens, the jars, & the pom garland, it’s a ton of texture which makes the vignette super cozy.

In between all of these things I of course added vintage finds like that framed photo, the jars, & that big beautiful antique cabinet. You know my love language in decor is an antique find mixed in. I love showing you guys different ways to decorate for the holidays that don’t fit the traditional idea of Christmas decorating. From ornaments on a cabinet to greens spread over the piece, & poms hanging on a deer mount… it’s fun to play around & not take yourself so serious! In our home, I tend to do looks that match my natural color scheme & love to give you guys inspiration for that as well. I think it’s an easy misconception that you have to decorate with red and green for Christmas but I want to show you guys that you can still decorate for the holidays in whatever color palette you choose! My hope is that this little Christmas deer vignette inspires you for your holiday decorating. I shared even more holiday home decor inspiration HERE. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & every day.

Liz Marie, I love this vignette, so sweet. I love any decor with a deer included! I have a regular buck that I’m gonna be putting fresh long pine garland around his neck.. I found mine at a local barn sale?
Oh Liz this is one of my favorite looks yet. Love it so much.
Did you find the cabinet already painted like that? I love it!
Where would I find that kind of greenery to decorate with? ❤️
What a striking deer, his antlers are impressive. What a great prop, if he goes missing…it wan’t me.
Yup, I am still obsessed with this look. Reindeer or deer in general have really been speaking to me this holiday season. I just love finding ways to add them to my vignettes.
I love this Vintage design, very unique. I can really feel the christmas at looking at the deer.

Oh that deer is dreamy! Those antlers! And that turn of the head! I NEED it! Mine is always dressed seasonally! Sunglasses in spring/summer, earflap hunting cap in Fall, Santa hat at Xmas! Just wondering if you’ve done a Christmas house tour? Can’t find it on the blog and would love to see the whole kitchen, dining room etc. in addition to vignettes (although I love those too!). Thanks and thank you for sharing your life and design. You are so gifted! Happy holidays!
