One of my favorite things to do in spring is refresh our bedroom! We spend more time in our bedroom than any other room in our home so its always important to me that its a cozy place to rest. We start and end everyday in our bedrooms so it’s important to me that it is just as cozy as the rest of our home.

Tip #89 in my book Cozy White Cottage goes over a few ways to make your bedroom a soothing place to gather at night. I want to talk about a few of those suggestions in this blog post… Clutter free is the way to be, keep it tidy, and choose quality! Our bedroom is free of anything extra that isn’t useful and only bring beautiful things into the space. I also like to keep our bedroom tidy with the bed made and the room picked up [this is easier to achieve when there isn’t clutter]. And finally, I always choose quality … I think it is so important to always choose quality bedding, pillows, and mattress for your bedroom.

What I really want to dive into today is quality! For many years [I’m talking to my ’20s] I bought cheap bedding because it didn’t seem important. However, over time I’ve learned that investing in quality bedding is 100% worth it. I get a better night’s sleep, feel cozier, and rest easy knowing the bedding will last longer than just a few short months.

One of my absolute favorite places to get cozy, cute, and quality bedding is Annie Selke. They have a huge selection of bedding with something to match anyone’s style! I think what I love about them so much is that they have so many different style neutral bedding sets to choose from. I always pick some neutral shade for our bedding whether its white, gray, or beige so I loved that they had so many great options for my style. Here are each of the items I used for our bed:
Archer Grey Woven Cotton Throw

Since we were refreshing our bedroom, I couldn’t resist getting a new bed for the dogs as well! The dogs [& Cope] are obsessed with the Adams Ticking Grey Dog Bed from Annie Selke. This is seriously my absolute favorite dog bed we’ve ever gotten, I love the size of it & thickness of it and that it looks super cozy anywhere in our house!

I hope this gives you the inspiration you need to make your bedroom feel super cozy & relaxing to you! I know many of you have been waiting for the sources for this bedding & I am so excited to share this Annie Selke bedroom refresh with all of you. It was such an honor to work with Annie Selke on our spring bedroom, as always all opinions shared in the post are my own. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & every day. Our bedroom is giving me all of the cozy vibes I have been craving… Can’t wait to get cozy in there!

So cozy and beautiful! I love the touches of greenery. Source for the bedroom rug?
Thank you for sharing your room!
Love it!!!
I love that you have “neutral colored” pups to match your decor!!!! Love your bedroom refresh…really lovely! ???
Simple, elegant and inviting, Liz! Well done! I love the texture of your neutral rug. Where is it from please??
Just a little question: How much of your bedding was sponsored & how much of it did you pay full price for? That is one expensive bed set that is beyond, I’m guessing, many of your readers price point.
I understand that sponsored posts are your bread and butter, but in a nutshell they are still advertising posts. In this current global situation, where many of us and our spouses are off work due to the pandemic & quarantines, It would be awesome if shelter bloggers could offer us more content including shop your house, how to’s, diy, and get the look for less posts.
I absolutely LOVE your aestethic, and I try to recreate many of your looks and vignettes here at home. Lately, though, the cost of many Bloggers sponsored merchandise is rather high for any of us to decorate with.
You are super talented, can you give us some more attainable content during these trying times?
Your bedroom looks so cozy!
100% agree! The room is beautiful! ?The bedding looks gorgeous and cozy. The price? Unrealistic. ?
Absolutely obsessed! Can you link your curtains behind the bed???
The Found Cottage was kind enough to make an exception and sell me the artwork you shared on your stories when you were talking about this bedroom update post you were working on. I was excited to help your small shop by making such a big purchase I usually don’t do. And I didn’t receive the print you have on your wall. I received a similar print but not the exact one you shared. I know the company that made the print they have both options in stock and I wanted to buy from your shop the one you shared not the one I received. I want to return it since it’s not what I paid for but I don’t have the money to pay for the return shipping. And since it wasn’t my mistake that I received the wrong print I’m just I’m so bummed over this mistake. I just didn’t get what I paid for. I really really wanted the print you shared.
Hi. It is beautiful. Would you mind telling us where you got the rug?
Thanks
The House on Winchester has a similar look to Liz Marie and she shops at Walmart. A much better price point. Just to let you know I totally agree, too expensive. I live in Canada and once you add the exchange, plus the shipping to here, you would think they were shipping stuff to the moon) it is totally beyond my budget. I love Liz’s style but use her blog just for inspiration.
Everything is gorgeous!
Please share about the rug!!!!
