Today I was not feeling my best. I don’t know about you, but when I’m not my best or if I’m anxious, doing something creative [or deep cleaning] is so helpful & truly helps to get my mind off of things. Since I had blogged the Library earlier this week, & since I received a few new items in the mail this week as well, I thought I would play around & create a simple summer pear tablescape in the library to get creative & help me feel a little better…
I used my new table runner [HERE] & placemats [HERE] that I got when Anthropologie had their big sale recently. I love the lightweight linen with the typography on them & thought they were perfect in here. From there I added everyday useful items from plates to cups & of course greenery to create this super simple fresh summer look. To top it off I added a plate of pears as it was one of the fresh fruits we had in the house at the moment. I love displaying the fruits and veggies we have in a pretty way, & this is great & easy to grab one & go. Pears have been my favorite snack as of late.. in fact my mouth is watering just writing this. Pears always add a cozy touch to the sight and taste!
I would love to give a source for those pillows, but they are not available anymore, but you can find more sources of this space [HERE] like this gorgeous scalloped rug that I revealed here on the blog this week. I hope this post & this tablescape inspire you in some way.. I needed a creative kick today & it sure helped me. Thank you guys so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to. xx
