I love bold flooring in a cozy space. Last week, I revealed how our painted flooring turned out in the greenhouse. If you happened to miss that you can see that here [HERE]. We decided to go with a harlequin design. Today’s scroll stoppers are all about Harlequin flooring! If you aren’t sure what scroll stoppers are, they are images that have stopped me mid-scroll because of how stunning and inspirational they are. You can see past scroll stoppers blog posts here [HERE].

As I’m sure you know, everything that @studiomcgee touches is magical! This quiet space in a kitchen is no exception! The muted color palette that was chosen for this room mixed with the bold flooring was such a great design choice!

These gorgeous, dark harlequin floors actually live Shinola Hotel in Detroit, Michigan! Shared by @shutterhomes, I am loving the design choice to carry this bold flooring down a long, bright hallway.

@ourgrowingstorey shared this photo talking bout how this room has been her problem child. While I don’t think this space looks like a problem at all, I can totally relate to having a problem child area or space that is so hard to design. However, I am loving how this cozy cottage space is coming along! I really enjoy the play with the color is the flooring mixed with the wood and white in the other areas!

Have you ever thought about putting bold flooring in your bathroom? @brittneyschulz.art did just this and so beautifully, if I may add! As you may know, our bathrooms are one area of our home that still needs quite a bit of work. I would love to add a bold flooring to our bathroom after seeing this gorgeous photo!

What do you think of a bold harlequin flooring design? Do you think that it would be something that you would put somewhere in your home? Let me know on Facebook or Instagram! Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
