As many of you know already I love home decor that has multiple functions. It makes it easier to purchase something when I can see lots of potential uses. Recently I shared some different ways that I like to use market bags and work them into my decor. Today I want to offer some great ways to use cozy baskets for storage and decor, and one way that you’re not going to see coming.
There are so many different baskets on the market. Different colors, shapes, sizes, and materials to choose from. Oftentimes, it can be overwhelming. I like to pick cozy baskets that I think can serve as great home decor but also help condense clutter and general stuff. Once you get that out of the way, the uses for your baskets fall into place. One of my favorite ways that I’ve used a basket in the past is to use it for greenery on a table [HERE]. In my first QVC home decor line, I designed a wicker basket that can be used as a planter as well!
One of the most unconventional ways that I’ve used a basket is to repurpose it as a farmhouse light! Of course, to prevent fires, this works before with a wire basket. I love this for an industrial farmhouse look. See the DIY here [HERE].
