*scroll for more spooky surprises* Halloween decor, but make it all antique finds 👏🏼🕯️🧹 Honestly, I love sharing new cozy sources, but I do pray that my legacy here is that I shared more antique finds than new, more thrift tips than new find tips, & more how to reuse items than buy latest trends. These dolls spoke to me this weekend. I’ve already had a few in my Halloween boxes, but this time I truly studied how they were made, their unique faces on every one, & how differently each was manufactured by the country of origin & date. I love the art of them & I don’t think they will just be in our Halloween decor, but also in our everyday decor displayed in a different way. But for now, here is some neutral Halloween decor inspiration & some inspiration for your next antiquing adventure [see my last reel for more antique fall collections to hopefully inspire you!] what do you think of this found neutral Halloween mood board? 🕯️🤍🧹🐑

My tip in any season? Surround yourself with all the collections from your many adventures. All of our collections & adventures are different so that means something different to everybody, but whatever it is to you personally… it’s cozy! This sound made me laugh, but it also got me thinking about how I truly do this in every space of my home & it encouraged me to share my little casa of curiosities more in depth with you daily. Do you display collections? Do you use antiques in your seasonal decor? I would love to hear from you! Also, did you laugh at the sound too? 🫶🏼🍂🕯️

A craft for you, the kids, your friends, & the whole family. THIS ONE IS SO FUN & EASY!!! Best part? You can customize your pumpkins to fit your fall decor. Did I mention it’s easy?

Did you know that if you combine a craft pumpkin & a napkin…

You get the coolest custom pieces of art for your fall decor?

It’s so easy. Just cut the napkin in strips, put a layer of modge podge on part of your craft pumpkin, stick the napkin on that part, & then seal by brushing modge over the napkin strips. Then repeat! That’s it.

You can find packs of pretty paper napkins at thrift shops, homegoods stores, crafts shops, party supply stores, & more. Let me know if you try this!!! 🎃🍂

Who knew that when we entered the fall season this year that our kitchen would still be unfinished. Well, we are good at making lemonade out of lemons here on white cottage farm which you know if you have been following us for a while so we have been functioning in our unfinished kitchen quite nicely even in disarray [see my stories today for the uncroppedpped version of the kitchen & the mess this beautiful space is surrounded by. Jose & I started our fall bucket list today & one of the sections of our bucket list is “fall foods” that we want to make. We find that writing our bucket list down along with our fall projects, to-do list, & fun activities helps us to stay on track to ensure more of our seasonal things get done. Another thing to keep me on track with cooking this fall & keeping up with my health journey is getting our groceries delivered to the house. I’ve talked about it before, but we use @Walmart’s express delivery which has been a blessing for our little family because I’m not the best at organizing & planning so even in a pinch I can get my groceries delivered to my doorstep which will be helpful for our fall kitchen bucket list so we can even make our fun fall recipes last minute. I can even order our pumpkins to be delivered if we wanted to. If you are looking for a way to make your fall & winter simpler & slower, I highly recommend looking into Walmart’s delivery service. From one momma to another… you got this! See more about the service in my stories as well. What is on your fall bucket list this year? For the kitchen? For the home? For fall activities… I would love to hear!! Leave your fall bucket list item below & I will select one of you this coming week to gift a $100 walmart gift card so you can check something off your bucket list!! One of my bucket list items was to create a cozy cooking corner in our demolished kitchen & today I did just that!! A thrifted table runner & branch from my yard really came through in a pinch! I truly hope I can show you daily that no matter what season of life you are in, no matter your budget, no matter the state of your home, YOU CAN BE COZY!! #WalmartPartner #WalmartGrocery #WelcomeToYourWalmart

Make a simple fall centerpiece with me👇🏼

Wreath + pumpkin dish + candle + vase filler = a simple centerpiece you can do for any season! I used an old wreath I had, a thrifted pumpkin bowl, some vase filler of acorns & pinecones, an @antiquecandleco_ candle, & it all came together in an effortlessly cozy way. I hope this simple fall centerpiece inspires you in some way! See my stories for more sources & ideas about this look. Be sure to share & save this idea for later! & let me know what you think of this simple idea below 🫶🏼🍂🕯️🎃

Let’s make a diy wicker witch hat👇🏼

I am back for round two of “DIY wicker witch hats” to bring you another way you can achieve this cozy cottage halloween vibe with a witch hat & just like the reel before this one, this is such a simple halloween diy! All you need: a witch hat [find one with a hard shell or “skeleton” so you can wrap your wicker around it] I found these at Michaels, but I’ve seen them around so be sure to keep your eye out. As you can see in the reel I just unwrapped the witch hat & re-wrapped with wicker garland [I have seen it at Michaels, hobby lobby, amazon, & more. I have it all linked in my stories & link in profile for you] while securing it with the vine covered floral wire that I also used in yesterdays diy. Again, just like yesterday, you can do this diy a thousand ways to make it your own by adding things, taking things away, making it bigger or smaller, & so on. Get creative & have fun!! I styled this diy wicker witch hat on my bust from @canvasandcargo & I’ve never been happier with a cozy halloween combo. I’ll try to style this space more & a whole cozy look. I hope this inspired you today & gave you even more ideas. Maybe it’s not a witch hat, what else can we wrap in grapevine garland? The family better be careful because I might wrap them next! Stay tuned for more cozy fall diys coming your way. Let me know if you try this one or the other wicker witch hat!

Let’s make a diy wicker witch hat👇🏼

I couldn’t find the perfect wicker witch hat in my budget or style, so I made my own! I was super inspired by all the wicker I had seen from @livingcountrycottage & that is what inspired the journey to today with this cute little creation. What do you think?! All you need: a cornucopia, a wicker charger, & some vine covered wire. THAT IS IT! Simply attach the cornucopia to the charger for this instant [dare I say cozy?] cottage Halloween decor. Of course there are a MILLION ways to make this with a MILLION variations of material & finds, but this is one simple way to do it. Tomorrow I have a second method that looks totally different so stay tuned for that one! For the materials: cornucopias can be found at craft shops, flea markets, antique shops, & I find them at the thrift shop often too! This cornucopia & charger are hobby lobby finds, but I linked a lot more options in the link in my profile & stories for you. What do you think?! Are you going to make one? Save or share this project for later!
