I think one of the most FAQ’s of Liz Marie Blog
is “Can you do a blog post on your master bedroom?”
Ummmm… the reason I never have before is… well… to put it
simply.. It’s not “finished”. It’s that room that
we have put off, but now we are finally going to start
working on it so I wanted to blog about what it
looks like now so you can get a good picture of the “before”
pre makeover…
 One thing I love about our bedroom is the amount of natural light
during the day… It’s so bright & inviting.
The one thing I do not like about our room is all of the cool tones that
make the room very icy & not have that warm cozy feeling I want.
 List of things to do in the Master Bedroom:
– Paint the walls a warmer neutral color
-Paint one of the dressers {not pictured} something other then white
-Take the shelf above the bed down & replace with other artwork
-Get new lamps {2} & accessories
-NEW FAN! The light kit the builders put in is just not my thing.
-New curtains… something with a pattern
-A rug, & maybe a chair for a seating area
….. & who knows what else will come up
Sorry that I am not posting any other angles of the room,
but I assure you that they are not very interesting.
Also do you see that lovely wooden nightstand? I picked
her up this weekend at an antique store.
I need to spruce her up a little, but she will fit very
well into the new bedroom.
So, there is the master bedroom “Before” & I’m so excited
to start the makeover to make a little cozy retreat
for my husband & I.
I hope you all had a great weekend! I did & I’m sad
that the work week already starts tomorrow!
I worked on a big project today in the garage &
I can’t wait to show it to you.. hopefully I can get it done
soon… It was a bit frustrating, but it will be
worth it in the end!
