HI friends!! I wasn’t planning on doing a “Holiday Home Tour” this year because we really didn’t decorate our home too much for Christmas this season. We were supposed to be out of town for the last half of December visiting family back in Michigan. Plans have changed so we are still here in North Carolina longer than expected. I was kind of upset at first about the change of plans because I miss our families so much, but we will still be there for Christmas thankfully! When my husband found out we were going to be here in NC longer, to my surprise, he went up in the attic and took our little Charley Brown Tree down and set it up in our living room. He hung the ornaments & even put some burlap ribbon on it. I was so surprised & so happy that our house actually felt like Christmas…
So I brought the Christmas a little further into our home.. our entry table got a quick Holiday makeover with things that I already had around the house. I wasn’t really feeling like decorating the entire house… I’m not a grinch, but I just wasn’t feeling it this year.
Sadly this isn’t even half of the presents for our family & friends, but the others had to be put in gift bags, and let’s face it, that hasn’t been done yet. I’m a little behind! To wrap these gifts I simply used postal paper and red yarn.
Wondering about that Ottoman? or that Deer Head Pallet Mount? Or that G on the top of our tree? Here are all the links to those posts:

I’m so excited to be home with my family for Christmas.. It’s not about the decorations, or the presents.. to me the hugs are going to mean everything this year. But, I can say, that one of my new years resolutions is to go all out next year decorating for Christmas!! I wish each and every one of you that celebrates Christmas a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! Did you decorate a lot this year? I want to see your decorated homes! Link them in the comments below or {here} on the facebook page, or tag me in your photos on instagram {@lizmariegalvan} or tweet me 🙂 & as always.. Talk to you soon!
