Hi friends!! I am back with another christmas DIY project. This one I teamed up with some other fabulous bloggers with & we are bringing you “Christmas in a Minute” DIY projects. We wanted to help show you ways you can decorate for the holidays that wouldn’t take you hours to do. If you have a few minutes here and there you can use these Christmas decorating ideas to spruce up your home for the Holidays. My DIY project is a simple way to spice up your Christmas tree with a few items from the craft store.
How cute are these little wooden deer silhouette ornaments? I picked these up at Michaels for about $1.50 a piece. They had so many others to choose from too, so you could do this with any of the pre-made ornaments they had. I also picked up some solid gold spray paint & some glitter gold spray paint. To do this simple minute craft I sprayed the entire ornament the solid gold color. After that {it only took one coat} I sprayed the antlers with the glitter spray paint. I didn’t tape the rest of the silhouette off because the glitter sprayed with a lot of precision. & there you have it. Some gold deer ornaments for your tree. These are also quite large so you could hang them other places in your house as well for decoration. You can experiment with different colors, get fancy and add some embellishments, there are so many options.
The last photo was taken during the day & the two above that were at night. It’s fun to see how different the ornaments look between day & night. I am in love with these wood DIY deer ornaments & I can’t wait to show you the whole {little} tree.
