So, remember that DIY pom holiday pom-pom light fixture that I made for our Christmas dining room? Well, it was bugging me. The pom-poms kept falling down & I had to re-tape them quite a few times. I finally took the pom-poms down after being irritated by it.Don’t get me wrong I loved the pom garland on the light fixture, but I couldn’t stand taping it all the time. I thought I would show the dining room as it looked this morning with out the pom-pom light fixture. & I know it wasn’t some people’s favorite thing so you may like it better now.
So, here is the dining room the other day with the pom-pom fixture. & below it is this morning with out the pom-pom light fixture. I know the lighting was better in the first photo, but you get the idea 😉
I also made a few other changes as well. I added the pom garland to the centerpiece & I also purchased some lovely black & white woodland plates & added those to the dining table as well. I’m a little obsessed with the plates & love how they add some more charm to the table.
So what do you think? I was a little sad to get rid of the festive pom pom light fixture, but I like the poms in the centerpiece too. Even our Christmas decor is forever evolving day by day, nothing in this house stays the same for long haha.
