I have to start this post out by saying Thank you. Thank you for all your kind words, tips, encouragement, prayers, & more on yesterday’s post [here]. I am floored at how many people have reached out via email, comments, Instagram, Facebook, & other outlets. It is sometimes so hard to be transparent & not share the not so pretty things in life, but you guys make it easier & feel like their is a purpose behind my journey. Thank you.
I don’t know what it is about this year, but I was inspired to decorate for Valentines day & I’m not even mad about it. Today I wanted to share with you a little glimpse into our simple cozy valentines day living room. With some pops of pink, red, & a few lovey dovey touches like hearts & initials it really just screams.. Happy Valentines day without being too overdone. Ps. don’t mind that the “J” is backwards in the post… haha things happen when you drink too much coffee before you photograph you living room…
Who knew I would be so obsessed with valentines day decor. Do you guys decorate for valentines day? I have another valentines day craft that I will be blogging [hopefully tomorrow] & I blogged that lovely DIY heart garland the other day [here]. Maybe I’m just feeling the love this year, or maybe it was because I was inspired by those lovely pink & white pillows that my mother in law made, but either way, I may now be a valentines day decorator. Let me know what you think in the comments below, find me on Instagram, & chat with me on Facebook!

I love your little Valentines Day vignette. I love hearts so I enjoy being able to decorate with them all year and especially for Valentines Day. I Have a board on Pinterest dedicated to hearts and Valentines Day. I really love the garland idea! Must try that!
I also want to say that I am sorry about your loss recently and I know all your babies are in the loving arms of God. They are at peace with Him and you will see them again one day. I pray that God will give you and your husband the desires of your hearts! You are in my thoughts and prayers. I was really touched by your heartfelt blog about your 4th baby and about your faith in the Lord and trusting in Him. Even though I have never experienced this kind of loss, my heart broke when I read your blog. I know you sharing what you have been through will inspire and help others who are going through this. God has a purpose for your life and you have so much to give to others. You are beautiful inside and out. Blessings to you.
I created my new pin board just for your pretty hearts, love them!
Your Valentine decor is perfect! I like just a touch of decorating for valentines day. I have a banner made from vintage valentine cards across the mantel and a square wood red block with the words “I Love You a Bushel and a Peck” sitting on top of the mantel.
I adore the vignette you’ve set up on your table! It is so interesting and creative. Love your book letters! I have one that is a capital “H” siting on the built-ins in my den.
I need to go back and read your post about decorating one’s home home for winter (after the Christmas has gone). I just haven’t seemed to put my house back together to make it feel cozy yet wintry.
I love the beautiful touches of pink for Valentine’s Day, but of course, pink is my favorite color. I’m a little partial! Your living room looks great!
Love this! The bunting is so cute:)
