Hey guys! So, I feel like I have been MIA from the blog all week even though I have blogged everyday, I just haven’t been able to check in or really go on social media because we have been so busy so I miss you guys.. is that weird? haha Anyways, If you didn’t know yet, we have been in Boston since Monday so that we could re-do a sunroom for a reader who we selected for the Lowes Spring Makeover. We have been having a blast! It was a two day makeover & we finally finished today. We ran into a few hiccups, but it honestly turned out amazing and the homeowners are in love & that’s all that matters! We have also been having fun enjoying the city. We walked the entire downtown I’m quite sure, went to a Red Sox game, shopped a lot, & also learned that driving in Boston is the most insane thing you could do… ever. I wanted to pop in today to say hi & that I will be getting back to normal life.. whatever that is.. next week & be blogging this entire makeover for you guys. But today I wanted to blog the ‘before’ so you could see where we were hanging out the past two days with the cutest family in the entire world. I’m not kidding guys, we hit the lottery on the family we chose. They were so fun & their two boys were so adorable. I can’t wait to share all the details with you next week , I hope you guys love it too! Until then.. here is the ‘before’ & I have been & will be sharing sneak peeks of the room all weekend so follow me on Instagram [here].
The room was all gloomy before we got our hands on it. & their were a lot of things in this small space that needed to be fixed. The homeowners moved in only a short time ago so this space hadn’t been touched. So excited that I got this opportunity to help them love this space. I hope you guys are having a great week & I really want to know… what would you do with this space?? Let me know in the comments below! xx
I would paint the walls and floor. Put some really cute cottage pieces of furniture. A beautiful floral rug and for privacy on the windows I would use sunbrella material roll- up shades. Possibly a really unique ceiling fan if there was room..
Wow, all I see in that room is potential!! Such a great blank slate to improve and beautify. First thing, I would nix the teal floor.
the room looks like it’s got great bones to be something awesome, can’t wait to see what you did! (And, I grew up about 5 minutes outside of Boston so for me, I’d drive in the city over a long country road ANY day. haha)
Wow this is definitely a pretty room to begin with.. I personally love those windows!! I’d paint the floors and restain the ceilings to cut that red in, giving it a cooler tone.. I can’t wait to see what you did with it!! Glad you’re home now and hopefully catch up on some rest girlfriend!!

Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to see the after!! Ps. We have lived in Boston for the last two years and I refuse to drive into the city. We take the train anytime we need to get around. Its not worth the stress!! LOL Glad you had fun!
