Happy “week of Christmas”!!! Jose and I were jamming out to Christmas songs in the jeep all weekend [we both can’t sing very well, so be thankful that you weren’t with us] I don’t know what it is about the week of Christmas, but it made us even more excited for Christmas than we already were. The one thing I’m sad about being the week of Christmas? Our Christmas decor will be coming down soon! Now that is sad. I wanted to give you a quick little tour of our simple cottage Christmas bedroom before Christmas was over. I still haven’t even revealed our bedroom makeover because it’s not “done”, but I had to add some Christmas touches for the holiday season because.. why not. Here is what our bedroom looked like today on this sunny afternoon…
This room is seriously so cozy, & Christmas just makes it even more cozy. I’ll be doing a full post on the bedroom soon, but for now here is what it looks like & the items I used to get the Christmas look. On the mirrors from Marshalls I used over the door wreath hangers for our wreaths from Balsam Hill. The Christmas trees on the nightstands are from Marshalls, The lamps are from Pottery Barn [here], the clocks are from Joss & Main & the little wood ornaments are from Michaels. You can read more about that shelf above our bed [here] & that lovely chandelier is from Painted Fox [here].
That rug in the room is the Threshold Belfast rug from Target [I couldn’t find it online but I LOVE this one [here] as well if you were looking for one kind of similar] The bed, the dresser, & the bedding are both from Arhaus & that lovely pillow was an etsy purchase from Madreana. The Christmas tree is from King of Christmas & the basket that I put it in is from Decor Steals. The candle sticks are from World Market [here]. & that lovely chalkboard art was done by my handsome husband. The chalkboard was a junkin’ find made from an old headboard.
I love these flocked trees, but oh my do they make a mess all over the floors! If you want one, be prepared to be sweeping a lot. We have been so happy with this naked Christmas tree in our room, I chose to keep it naked because the flock was enough for me & because I wanted this room to be super simple & so super simple it was. The tree in the basket adds a fun touch & was one of my favorite ideas I had this season. I hope you guys enjoyed touring our Christmas bedroom & I hope your Christmas week is amazing… Merry “Christmas week” from our home to yours!! Be sure to follow me on Instagram & Facebook & as always THANK YOU for stopping by my blog, I truly appreciate it. xx
Shop this room:
Um, your bedroo isn’t “done” yet?? It’s spectacular and beyond gorgeous! Looks plenty done to me! Love it! Is your plank wall tongue and groove or plywood sheets? is it painted the same color and sheen as the rest of your walls? If so, what is the color/sheen of the room and the plank feature wall? Did you finish off the top with a quarter round? I have so many questions, but figure i would limit them to only one area of the room 😉
I love everything and thank you for faithfully posting!
Thank you very much for mentioning the grain sack pillow and our shop!
It looks great in your lovely home! Also, every setting you create has life and joy and that homey feel that everybody yearn for.
🙂 You missepelled our shop name; It’s Medreana not Madreana, it’s an ancient and forgotten name from Transylvania, the land beyond the woods, also the name of my great grandmother.
You most definitely have the magic touch it’s beautiful and so christmassy without ‘overdoing it. I’m not a fan of coloured lights and too much tinsel so I love this. Makes me want to go out and clip all the evergreen and holly from our garden and bring it all in. Merry Christmas:-)
I NEED that dresser. Can you please share the make and model. It is everything I have been looking for!
This is the link to that beautiful rug from the Target site: https://www.target.com/p/threshold-belfast-accent-rug/-/A-16673521#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=Threshold+Belfast+rug
Ah, such a lovely place.
Happy Christmas!
I love love love your bedroom furniture! Happy Holidays!
Hi Liz Marie, your bedroom is so beautiful! Can you share where you got the white distressed candle holders? I see that you found the gray Ella pillar candleholders from World Market but love the white ones. Also, where did you get the mirrors above the bedside tables? Thank you!
