I have been CRAVING a super simple dining room table lately. After all the Easter decor in the dining room, I really wanted to strip it all down & simplify the table & make it super pretty, but also practical. I didn’t really have a plan in place, but then came my Gable Lane Crate at my doorstep. I was contacted by them a while back to review their home decor crates & I LOVED the concept & I knew you guys would to, so I agreed to try it out. Well, since I’m blogging about it that means that I loved it or there wouldn’t be a post.. so SURPRISE I loved it! Gable Lane Crates [here] is basically a monthly home decor subscription box that gets delivered to your door. Each crate every month is different & filled with lovely home decor picks that are trending at the moment. Since I’m always changing up our home decor, this is right up my alley. The crate came all packed cute & the grouping of items they chose couldn’t have been more “Liz Marie” if that’s a thing. Here is the crate & what it had in it this month…
I mean, it’s like I went shopping for myself. Not sure if this is how all the crates will be each month, but this one is filled with goodies I would pick up and buy for myself if I was out shopping. The best part? it was delivered to my door stop. I didn’t have to get in my car & go shopping.. someone did it for me. So I unloaded the items onto my dining room table…
I keep the table like this day to day & it’s been so handy! I keep the Gable Lane Crate on the table with the napkins & napkin ring holders in the crate along with my wood chargers I use. Then on the rest of the table I use my World Market pedestals with our plates & bowls on it & another one with a pitcher & plant from Ikea. & of course a couple of candles because I burn candles daily. & when I want to set the table it looks a little something like this…
Seriously, I’m loving this little setup right now. It’s easy, simple, & everything serves a purpose. & here is how I used a few of the other items from my crate…
I used the adorable mini cutting boards on our three tiered tray in our kitchen along with that amazing candle that smells exactly like a loaf of bread.. so good, but so bad for us gluten-free people! & I used the greenery in our stairway gallery wall. The wonderful table runner is from Vintage Song Bird, the candle is from 1820 house candle, & you can read more about the individual items [here]. All in all I would say that the Gable Lane Crate is a good bang for your buck. I love getting surprises so having one of these show up on my door step brings me a lot of joy & it’s a great way to add farmhouse decor to your home as well! I’m thinking I need to sign up to get one monthly after getting this first one. What do you think of this months Gable Lane Crate? Have you heard of them before? Do you get one? *I was given the Gable Lane Crate, but not paid in any way to give a review & as always all opinions are my very own.
