So yesterday I blogged my new chunky wool blanket from Modern Wool [HERE] that I had purchased recently. I chose to share it because I’m obsessed with the blanket, the quality, the look, & everything about it. It truly brought a lot of joy to my holiday season & I was so happy to finally own something I had been looking at forever. They were even so kind to offer me a discount code that I could share with you guys [see discount code here]. I also know you guys know that I don’t share anything that I purchase if I don’t love it.. which is the best thing about blogging to share things with you that I love. I got a lot of comments about the price of the blankets & it’s so true that the chunky knit throws from Modern Wool reflect their superior quality. Honestly, I wish you could all feel it for yourself! On Instagram I was chatting with some lovely readers & they asked if I knew of any chunky wool throws that were a little cheaper than the one I featured, & of course I wanted to find some for you guys because I know not everyone wants to spend a lot on a blanket. I found 10 more affordable ones & shared them above [you can click the corresponding number below the large collage or the individual photos below the numbers to go to the listing of each blanket]. The only thing is about these chunky wool blankets, is that I can’t share my review of their quality or how amazing they are because I don’t own them. These chunky wool blankets above are all still from small handmade shops which I love supporting & I hope that this list helps you if you were looking for an affordable chunky wool blanket. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & for sharing this with your family & friends. Be sure to find me on Facebook & Instagram for more behind the scenes of our farm life. xx

I love these blankets! I have been looking at them for awhile now but I am worried that the wool will shed. Have you had any issues with the wool getting all over your clothes etc?
Just an FYI, most of those “affordable” prices on those blankets are for very small sizes, usually less than 2×3. To get one that would be a nice throw size like yours adds $200-300 or more from most of those shops. Some are even $500-600. That is not very practical for someone with kids and pets. What if you get some pulls? How do you repair them? Things like this usually pill over time as well. I love them, but need to learn how to knit if I want one or wait until I find one more reasonably priced.
Jute rug ?
My daughters husband was going to clean there jute rug outside on the patio. Idk y? But he never did and then it rained on it, so it was pulled into the garage never drying out now it’s got white hairy mold on it and possibly a big area of black mold or just wet jute I’m not sure . Do u think I should waste my time trying to clean it and if so any suggestions
