Hi guys! I have kind of a fun announcement today. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now, but just never took the time to do it. I opened a P.O. Box [see address at the bottom of this post]. I never knew I needed one until I opened a shop. It was the oddest thing. Of course before if a small shop or a company wanted to send me something I would give my address away, but when I opened the shop [The Found Cottage for those who didn’t know we own a shop] without anyone ever telling me I started receiving the nicest random packages and letters there. You guys.. it was so sweet. I was floored by the kindness that was sent to me & honestly had no words for the kind letters about our fertility, miscarriages, the blog, & the shop. It made me really start thinking that I would love to talk to you guys about all of this. I would love to share with you some of the packages that I get [if the sender doesn’t mind], & show some small shops off that send packages [I already do this, but do it even more in a designated area], answer questions that readers send in, and just use this as an open forum for snail mail. Since these people had just found our shop address online and kindly sent the packages I figured I would make it easy and open a P.O. box for those wanting to send some love. I love reading comments, chatting with you guys on social media, & being online pals, but there is something about holding something in your hand & getting to know you guys that way that is so special. I wanted to share with you some things I got this past week from some lovely blog readers that made me smile ear to ear [and one made me cry]….
Linen & Ivory– Formerly known as So Vintage Chic, Kendra just re-launched her new shop name & branding recently & I’m so excited for her! I lover her new sleek look & as always… I love her pillows! I have had many of Kendra’s pillows in our home. This week she sent me this lovely lemon pillow that cheered our home right up & made me want all the lemon things!
Heart Of The Farm Planner – I have been a long time fan of Cory & her Heart of The Farm Planners for a while now, now they have a recipe book [more like a massive recipe binder] that is filled with dividers, blank recipe cards, plastic sleeves to keep everything clean and tidy, & labels to help you quickly find everything. This recipe keeper makes me SO MUCH MORE EXCITED to actually have a kitchen! I can’t wait to get all our recipe cards in this baby & start cooking as a family in a beautiful new kitchen… some day!
Miss Mustard Seed Doodle Book– If ya’ll don’t know, I am a HUGE fan of Marian Parsons aka Miss Mustard Seed. Like, when I met her I actually cried and was a shaking mess. Ask her, it was embarrassing, but she is such a great inspiring light in my life. She recently came out with this “Home Design Doodle Book” that is so much more than that. It’s a place where you can record goals for your home, doodle, & draw room designs, write inspirations for your home decor, & so much more. Throughout the book she shares tips on decorating, interior design, & my most favorite part is that throughout the book she shares inspirations & verses from the Bible that inspire her. A must get for any home decor enthusiast & I believe it’s less than $12 here [HERE].
Carolyn’s Collection – I’ve been following Honey Holden for a long time now & she always posts photos with this lovely young lady named Carolyn. I love reading about Carolyn & what she is up to & Honey & Carolyn’s friendship made me want a friendship like theirs so badly! Fast forward to recently I was contacted by Edna Grayces that they wanted to send me some bracelets from Carolyns collection & I have never felt more special in my life. YES! This week they came in the mail & they are my new favorite accessory. I will now think of Carolyn every time I wear them & I hope she knows how thankful I am for these & how much I admire her. The best part of her collection with Edna Grayces is that a portion of all their sales goes to charity. You can’t go wrong. These bracelets & the hand written notes [yes she wrote me more than one that actually made me start crying in the car with Jose because I felt so loved] that Carolyn sent me made my whole week! I will keep the notes forever along with the bracelets.
This whole blogging thing brings me so much joy. It’s being able to connect with people who I would have NEVER known & getting to meet the most special people who change my life in so many good ways. I also love being able to cheer on fellow entrepreneurs & show them off. It’s the greatest & I will never ever take it for granted. Thank you all for making me love sharing here on the blog!! Want to send me snail mail? Here is the address below & you can also now find the address all the time in the sidebar of the blog…
Thank you all for making my week & thank you for stopping by the blog today, it means the world to me! Be sure to find me on Facebook & chat with me on Instagram. xx
