A few weeks ago on my Instagram stories I shared the new door that we hung for the half bath in our back farmhouse entryway. I love the door, I love the detail on the door, I love the size of the door, I honestly loved everything about the door. The problem? It wasn’t the door for the half bath & I didn’t realize it until we actually got it hung. Jose was thrilled. Haha but thankfully he is used to me changing my mind & he loves me for it. Thank goodness. Anyways.. it’s Friday & I’m not feeling very wordy, but I wanted to show you a little sneak peek of the new door…
The “black door” before…
The black door…
A sneak peek at the wood door “Before”…
The bathroom is far from finished, but having a door was important because… well, we still use this bathroom & a door is always a nice touch when you want some privacy. The black door was awesome, but it was a little too aggressive in this tiny space. The new door was a find this week & I LOVE that it already has the frosted glass on it & the it’s a little thinner, smaller, & less intrusive on this small hallway. I can’t wait to get it hung this weekend & share it with you guys! What do you think of the new door choice so far? The new wood door needs a little love, but she is a beauty & I’m sure she has some stories to tell! I feel like the black door can find a good home & it can always be painted as well. It’s a unique piece for sure! Let me know what you think of the new door choice in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on instagram. Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today! xx
I can’t choose. I love them both!

I like the new door much better.
I like the black door. It had a more primitive feel and I like that it repeated the black and white theme of the bathroom. It is so unusual. The new door is nice, but not the show stopper the black door became hung and painted. It is a piece of art.
Love the black door and know you will find another place for it to live. The new door is perfect. Are you going to strip it down like Joanna Gaines did to the doors at the Bakery? I think it would be so pretty stripped and natural. But whatever you decide, I know I will like it.
Peaceful weekend to you and Jose and your furry family.
Maybe I am in the minority but the black door is beautiful but the slats don’t offer enough privacy for a bathroom to me. It would make a great pantry door. It would make a great closet door. It is beautiful. I love both of the doors.
Great find!! Will look fantastic… ????
Love the new door for the bathroom. ?
Oh my gosh Liz this new door is fabulous and perfect for your bathroom. I cannot wait to see it hung. What a great find.

LOVE the new door! Great find. It’s beautiful. The black doors seem like they would be awesome for a library/study/office or laundry room entrance.
The door is gorgeous, as are all your DIY projects! I have a question regarding the piano bench that Jose made you. I can no longer find the tutorial, the link doesn’t take one to it….We just followed your directions and are currently painting the piano, and I was hoping to following his instructions on the bench as well (we even purchased the Pier 1 cushion:)
Thank you and blessings to you both!

So. Much. Better. Love the new door. I will have to go back through your blog posts to see if I missed any posts on how you painted your brick floor.
I fell in love with first door but the new door is also loveable. I agree a piece has to feel good in a space.
