You guys, it’s so close to Christmas that it’s literally insane. This year seems to be going by even faster than usual. That being said… ya’ll I have failed to show you so many areas of our house decorated for Christmas, one being our front living room. I haven’t shown you really any of the Christmas decor up there & to be honest it’s not even “done”. I’m slacking ya’ll! Thank you for still loving me. Well, today I was playing around with the mantel & I styled it two different ways so I wanted to show you guys both styles today to hopefully inspire you & maybe even make you feel a little more festive, this is my version of how to decorate a mantel for Christmas.
The mantel itself is an antique find & above the chippy white mantel I have some Chippy architectural salvage above it. The first way I styled the mantel is an antique gold mirror in the center of the mantel with a gold hoop wreath hanging from it that I found at Target. The garland is actually two pieces that I found at our shop & pieced together on the mantel. Those stockings? They are my favorite & I actually used them for both looks. They are from Crate & Barrel [HERE] & those name tags are are from an etsy shop [HERE].
The second look is my favorite. The mantel, the salvage, the garland, the stockings, & the name tags all stayed the same. But I switched out that antique gold mirror for another wreath from Target that I believe was from their fall collection, but it looks perfect for winter as well. I added some wood bead garland on top of the greenery to add more texture. & to top off the whole look I added some antique silver cups with bottle brush trees. A simple look, but as always it’s cozy.
I will be back later to share the rest of this space with you, but I thought I would show you just a little insight to me decorating our mantel today. What do you think?! I could have shared five more ways because once you give me a mantel.. my issue is I come up with too many ways to style it. Let me know what you think in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog.. it means the world to me. xx\

They are both wonderful but the styling with the mirror is my favorite. Bear’s tag needs to hang with Bella’s tag. I hate to see him alone with no stocking!! 🙂 Love your style Miss Liz. Happy Day.
I love the mirror mantle as well.
God bless you this holiday season from Pittsburgh!
The mirror is my favorite. Merry Christmas!
My favorite is the white wreath and bottle brush trees.
