Happy Monday!! We had such a great weekend in Wisconsin visiting for Cope’s birth mom’s college graduation. It was a busy weekend but we decided to stop at a flea market on the way home that we had never heard of before. Well guys, it was the most overwhelming flea I had ever been to in my life! It was the Elkhorn Flea Market in Elkhart, Wisconsin. There were over 500 vendors and I didn’t know the layout so I was the lost girl pushing a stroller through the big crowds not knowing where she was going or what she was looking for, but the good news is though we weren’t planning on going to this flea market… I found some treasures! Here is a glimpse at what I picked up this weekend…

Lots of gold frames, boat paddles, mirrors, a shelf, duck decoys, & a few other treasures… NOT BAD!! I went without a cart, cash, or anything else.. I didn’t even have a hat or a pony tail holder.. I was basically a mess. I even met some of you guys there which is always amazing! Thank you for coming to say hi to me when you see me in public.. it means the world! I hope these flea market posts show you a glimpse of what I’m loving right now at flea markets & helps you on your next antiquing trip. Thank you guys so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to.. it means the world!
What treasures ! The best trips are always the ones that were not planned. Also, I have a VERY important question..why is that fabulous light fixture that you and Jose made hanging in the greenhouse and NOT in my house? Just sayin! Glad you had a fun trip and are home safely with many treasures ! Love you all!
All great finds! I especially love the teal pitcher behind the oar. Something I would have picked up. Sounds like a great day.
Those oars are amazing. You found some great pieces.
How were the prices? Considering if it might be worth the drive for me!
girllllll I want to go antiquing with you so bad. I would just bring an endless supply of money and legit buy errrrrrthang you told me to. Sound good? You have the best eye for goodies
So fun! I am so amazing you visited this one! I was there too and would have died (in a good way) if I saw you! I’ve been going to the Elkhorn antique flea market in Elkhorn Wisconsin since i was a kiddo! It’s the best! We live only about 30 minutes from it ❤️ Come back soon!
I had a Facebook reminder to head to Elkhorn but I just got too busy and could not make it down there. I have family in that town. I saw your video and didn’t realize how incredibly big that fleamarket is. I have one in my little town coming up on memorial day weekend. Im in Cedarburg WI.
I’ve been there a couple times and my sister was there! It’s amazingly huge & overwhelming! Great finds! I wanna know what you’re doing with those oars?!?!
We were there too Liz, it is an awesome flea market! You found some great stuff!
I saw that sign! ? I think I know what booth it was in as I know the owner from an antique booth here in town. Glad you got out and I hope you avoided the rain!
Elkhorn is the best market in the Midwest. Prices are all over the board. Dealers come from near and far to pick for treasures. Glad you got to experience it and perhaps you’ll be back. I found some fun finds too!!!
It was my first time too and we snagged a couple textiles we love. The best thing was the steak sandwich though by the Whitewater Lions Club…yum mm it was the best breakfast sandwich I ever ate since we started at 5 am to get there by 730..it was overwhelming and next time will be a cart and more cash!
Gorgeous finds! Thanks for sharing. I love the frames ? I’m always looking for gold frames for an ancestor wall I’m putting together. I’ll definitely have to hit more flee markets this Summer.
All your items are scrumptious! love all if them equally as well. you hit the jackpot w/your purchases!??❤❤❤?????
So do you recommend the elkhorn flea market? I was going to go this year but got nervous it might not be worth my 6 hour drive?
We love the Elkhorn flea market and have been going for years! I’ve been looking forward to it all year but unfortunately got rained out and had to leave:(. It is definitely overwhelming, but the best one around this area. It is only four sundays in the summer months. I highly recommend, I think it is worth the drive for all the variety of finds! It is also fun to haggle prices ?
We love the Elkhorn flea market.. You can always find cool things there and the prices aren’t bad
Completely worth the drive. This past Sunday inclement weather was expected so there weren’t even the full 500 vendors, some chose not to show up but it was still A-mazing! We had a major thunderstorm roll through and some outdoor booths called it a day at that point, but the best pickins were right after as people were in tear down mode. If you can find a place to stay in the area & take in some of the local charm, do so as this is a one-day event held only 4 times each year! I missed catching a glimpse of our sweet Liz Marie, but did get all fan-girl when I spotted Tereasa Surratt from Camp Wandawega renoun & so many other creative publications. My entire family attends & the kiddos love adding to their many collections. A truly dreamy day!
Elkhorn Flea Market is awesome! The one held in September is one of my favorites to go to, the fall flowers and pumpkins/gourds are so fun! It’s worth a trip back in September Liz!
Hi Shari! I’m heading to the next one that’s in June. I was at a different vintage market over the weekend in New Berlin. I’m in Pewaukee, and we always come to Cedarburg for the big festival at the end of summer. We love it!
I will be going to the next one in June. I was at a different vintage market over the weekend but sure I wish I had gone and bumped into you. Maybe another time. ? I love what you found, and you’ve given me some inspiration (as you always do!) of what I want to find. I’m glad you enjoyed your time here in Wisconsin, even though it was rainy and gloomy. Please come back sometime..
So glad you made it to Elkhorn! It’s the best flea market!!! I’ve sold there and of course buy there!!! Pretty special you made it to Cope’s birth mom’s graduation!! Great finds as well!
Charming finds. Next time you’re at the market, stop by my warm…and dry booth at the far end of the ? barn! I bring fun vintage jewelry and other treasures that I sell on behalf of older gals who need to leave their homes due to age or health, but want to make sure the items they have loved find a happy new owner.
Fanatastic flea market coming up this weekend in Allegan, Michigan. Nice drive. Pretty lake.
These will enhance your shop and home; great eye!
