Jose and I cannot believe where we are today, this year 2019 compared to last year. We were in the middle of selling our Farm Mom. & Herd Mom. t-shirts raising money for adoption. I think at this point we still hadn’t met with the birth mom, let alone know that in a few short months Cope would be entering this world.
Through the graciousness of everyone out there that either bought our first wave of presets, or our merch., we were able to raise the money to fund Cope’s adoption. We had a goal to raise based on the agencies estimated cost, and exceed our goal in no time flat… thank you all again we cannot say it enough. Jose and I both felt so blessed and undeserving of the His grace and your generosity, we had to give the the money raised over our goal to another family seeking adoption. If you remember, we opened up a form for people to nominate friends and family going to down the adoption journey, for use to gift them with our blessings, in hopes of helping them get that much closer.

So many nominations bought Jose and I to tears, and we wished we could help each and every family reach their goal. The one nomination that stopped me in my tracks, was from someone I look up to and admire as an adoptive mom. This beautiful women helped ease my mind into the love and connection a mom can have with their adopted child and I was so thankful we could help her. Here is her story:
Her birth mother and I we were introduced through mutual friend. We had just moved to Mi just a couple months earlier and did not even have a place to live yet when we met. So it was safe to say we definitely weren’t pursuing another adoption at the time. Originally I thought I could just help her figure out what she wanted and guide her while she made a plan. But one thing led to another and she ended up asking us to adopt her daughter. As soon as we purchased a house and moved in we started another home study… and we did it FAST. I honestly don’t know how we did it…
God had his hand all throughout this process. After the cross country move and buying a fixer-upper house and spending all the money we had saved for our house on the adoption we found ourselves still coming up short. That’s when you blessed us with your incredible donation. Like I have tears in my eyes over your generosity and the timing of it all. I mean GOD PROVIDED in all the details. After two weeks of waiting out ICPC in Olive’s birth state we were released to take our daughter home! Her adoption was night and day different from Emelia’s. We actually finalized her adoption before we left her birth state. We had to wait 8 months to finalize Emelia’s.

We cannot image our world today without this little man. And thanks to the birth mom for such a tough decision and selection us, and to those that supported our journey and helped us fund our adoption we are forever grateful. With that we want to continue to help other adopting families get their little miracle as well so we are going to be spreading the love. While we wish we could cover someone’s entire adoption fees, it’s not possible at this point, but we do want to offer a gift that hopefully gets you or another family closer to their goal. This is how we envision this working for now:

-Nominate a family you know raising money for adoption, going through the adoption process, or nominate yourself if you are in the process as well!
-Use the contact form below to nominate & use one form per family you are nominating.
-Share a little info about the family adopting so we can get to know them or you!

We would love to share the family’s story with you guys, but we will remain as private as the chosen family decides to be which I know you guys totally understand. We now know how scary starting the adopting process is & we hope that this will make Christmas for them a little easier. We can’t wait to see your nominations & we are thankful in advance for your help in spreading this adoption joy this holiday season! xx Liz & Jose

Your story along with your precious, smiley baby brings joy to my heart. I cannot imagine not adopting after reading your posts. Is there a way to donate without buying items?
You guys are awesome.
