If you follow me on Instagram you know I have a hashtag #LMBhome that I tag any photo to do with our home on there with. It makes it easier for you guys to see past and present photos of our home all the way back from the day we moved in. Well, I decided that I should keep an up to date monthly #LMBhome tour here on the blog because every month our home is changing. We moved in 6 months ago & every month this little home of ours has evolved into a place that we love & that’s special to us. So, I snapped a few quick photos of our house today when we got back from the lake this afternoon & this will be the #LMBhome tour of July 2015. I hope these tours help you get a glimpse into our house as it is right now & really help you see how it changes over time. The tours will not always be our entire home, like today it’s some snapshots of a few rooms & even a glimpse into our office & master bedroom that are currently getting makeovers at the moment. So come on into our home & relax for a while in our cozy spaces….
Our lower level living room is looking pretty cozy these days. A few changes in this room, but not much. I have a few ideas up my sleeve for in here so stay tuned for that. All in all this room has stayed the same for some time now & has somewhat changed purposes so that requires change. But more on that later.
Our kitchen & dining room have been going through some big changes that you can read about [here]. But one thing I want to highlight that is new is that dining room table that Mr.LMB made last week! I still have to paint it, but I will be blogging it when it’s finished very very soon!! I may have even finally picked out kitchen cabinet hardware after living here for over 6 months. Wow. I know. Still a lot of things to do in these spaces, but that’s what makes the blog interesting right?
Not a whole lot new in the upstairs living room besides I took down our 4th of July decor that was [here] before we left on our weekend getaway. We also added some new antique finds that I will be blogging shortly so stay tuned for those! I’m also wanting to change up the lamp & what is going on above the couch… I have some ideas so we will see how they turn out.
A tiny glimpse into our master bedroom makeover that we are currently doing. This bed from Arhaus is proving to be one of my most favorite purchases EVER. I’ll be blogging all about it soon, but just had to show it in all it’s un-made glory today.
I mentioned in a recent blog post that we are currently switching our guest bedroom & office around. Well, here is the “new office” in it’s new location. Half done, but it’s functioning like it needs to at the moment. Jose is in school & working full time & I’m working from home so this room gets used A LOT. I keep working on it a little at a time & it’s slowing coming together.
So there you have it! The #LMBhome tour for July. I left out our guest bedroom, both bathrooms, most of our master bedroom, lots of little nooks & the basement, but those will most likely be in the next home tour, in other posts here on the blog & you will always see updates on my Instagram as well. I truly hope you guys love these little updates on our house & how it looks month by month. Let me know if you like this monthly home tour idea in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram.
My favorite room is your upper living room! But I’m so looking forward to seeing your bedroom reveal!! And always been curious of your basement that you haven’t shown us yet! Yep I’m a LMB junkie! Keep up the awesome inspiration girl!! ~Kim
Looks just beautiful as usual… so light, airy, and yet cozy at the same time! I pinned your kitchen to my kitchen inspiration board. It’s almost the exact same layout as my dated 1960’s kitchen that I’ll be redoing soon.

It all looks beautiful! Where is the terranium/little house from in the kitchen? I neeeed it.
Thank you so much for sharing Liz. I love your home so much. So cozy and inviting! I can’t wait to see your master bedroom reveal! Please do share where the terrarium is from?!
So cute! I LOVE the black pendent light in the middle of your kitchen. I have a question about it… Does it give off enough light? I’ve been thinking of getting one for my kitchen but I’m worried my kitchen will be too dark once the sun goes down.
I know you have probably already posted this somewhere, but what are your wall colors?
Love your home and your blog!
Thank you so much, I am so happy you like it. The terrarium is from Home Goods. I hope you have one close by and they have them for you. Thanks for reading!!!
Hey Danielle, the terrarium is from HomeGoods. HomeGoods can be tricky with finding certain items, so I hope you have good luck if you are on the hunt. Thanks for reading.
I love!!! Where did you find your kitchen canisters?? I have to have. Beautiful home inspiration. Thank you.
