When we moved from our last home I really thought we would never have a stoop again. At our last home we didn’t eve have a porch, but now on the farm the entire front half of our home is a big porch & yet we still have a stoop. It makes me happy because I truly loved that little stoop at our last house & you know if you give me a little stoop,I will go a little stoop crazy at Christmas…
Seriously such a simply lovely back stoop. This door isn’t used a ton, but I still wanted to make it look welcoming. I used some vintage sleds and vintages skis in a kind of winter cottage look. I threw in a vintage bucket filled with evergreens, one of my favorite pennant pillows from Fabric Scout Studio, a red stripe pillow from Home Goods, & a red grain sack pillow from the Target dollar section. The trees & wreaths are from BirchLane, & the rug and the banner are also from Target. The boots are my Hunter Wellies & I thought they just fit in with all of the winter sports equipment. Such a simple little stoop, but with the snow on it all it makes me so happy. It’s the little things right? & the best part? The only new things I purchased for this space were the two things from The Target Dollar spot, everything else I already had in our christmas collection.
Ok, I’ve said it a million times, but I will say it again… Even though our farmhouse is in complete demo mode & it’s a fixer upper it still looks quite cute for Christmas this year. Our first Christmas at White Cottage Farm has been quite magical. I hope you guys liked this glimpse at our back stoop decorated for Christmas & the first snow that we have got here in Michigan this year. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & for following me over on Facebook & Instagram. xx

Do you leave your pillows outside all the time?
I do leave some out, but some I take in.. not sure if that was any help. I recommend using outdoor pillows or spraying them with waterproof spray if you do. <3 xx
Thank you! So beautiful!
(Initiate gushing) I am in love with your style, story, ease and evitable hospitality. One question I’ve wanted to ask so many bloggers is where/how do you keep all your seasonal/extra decor? My upstairs looks like a garage sale gone bad! Just wondering what the pros recommend! Again, many thanks for sharing!
