Happy Friday! I’m not going to lie, I’m still on a The Found Cottage Mercantile Market high. You can read more about our amazing time we had at the market [HERE]. I feel like I haven’t done anything all week & that I’m just floating around still happy as ever as to how the Mercantile Market went. I got to meet so many of you, I got to be surrounded by so many creatives, & the part I haven’t shared yet? Some of the treasures that I found at the market & decided to buy! I wish I could have bought something from every single booth, but I [rookie mistake] didn’t allow that much time for shopping in between meeting all my peeps, eating the yummy food, & trying my best to run the market… next time!! But don’t get me wrong I did take some time to shop…
I picked up this amazing dresser for the office & I couldn’t be more obsessed with it. The first thing that drew me to it was the color, & the second thing was the amount of storage on it! The doors open up to a drawers that slide out & of course those drawers at the top that surprising hold a lot. It’s a great addition to the office. I will be styling it way different than this, but for now, it still looks pretty sweet. This piece [& most everything below is from one of my favorite ladies, Jordan from HoneyHomb Market]. I’ll be sharing this post in a later office update post, but had to share this beauty with you now!
I picked up all of these blue bottles & these cute cloth pumpkins as well. I really never thought about using vintage blue glass in my fall decor, but I don’t hate it! Blue is always a good idea.
Architectural pieces! I found so many little chippy white architectural pieces like these I displayed on the piano. I have an obsession with all things chippy & white… y’all know me so well! Oh & that wreath as well!
Kale. So much kale. We had an amazing local greenhouse [Robin’s greenhouse] at the market with tons of fall florals & I had to grab some before the show ended. I went with tons of ornamental kale & I just love using it in our fall decor. I kind of spread it around the living room for now, but I will most likely be using it in our fall porch decor.
I picked Jose up a few gifts because did I mention he was a huge part of our markets success? I’m serious without him it would have not been the same or ran so smoothly… I can’t thank him enough for being so invested in every single thing I do & for caring so deeply for me & my pals. I tried to get him a good enough gift, but nothing will top the gift of selfless love that he gives me daily. Too cheesy? Sorry, it’s true. I’m blessed & hope I bless him in some way. I did pick up some manly things for Jose from my new favorite shop, Tenden. He was one of my favorite people I met at the market & he has such an interesting story. His grandma taught him how to sew & he makes leather goods and more. He is amazing. Check out his stuff [HERE].
Oh, & see that laundry cart in the reflection of that mirror in my office? I got that too. Ok, I think I’m missing a few things, but you get the idea. I found a lot of treasures… but wish I could have got more. I know a lot of the vendors sold out of their wares at the market so I know a lot of people got some amazing treasures at the market.. can’t wait for the next one!! What’s your favorite find lately? I would love to hear! Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by my blog today!! xx
Liz-
First off I just want to say you are amazing and such an inspiration. Thank you for your openness about PCOS and going through inferitility, as I am going through the same. It’s very lonely and hard, but hearing you and others share makes that dark area feel a little bit lighter.
So my question is: I LOVE how you rearange all the time to make the room look fresh and new. But how do you hang and move all your pictures and architecturel prices without having a million holes everywhere? I do this at my own house, but have to patch and touch up every time. Is there a trick that you have? Thanks for any help and I pray the Lord keeps doing awesome things through you to help reach others.
Tristen, I HAVE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION OVER AND OVER on several blogs and no one ever responds. It would be great to finally get an answer to this question.

Hi Liz! I absolutely LOVE your decorating style and wish I could have just 1 ounce of your talent! =)
Where did you find the First M E Church of Gasgo sign? This is probably one of my favorite signs of all time! I’m assuming it’s one of a kind, but wondering if you have any history behind it or have you seen similar signs in the past?
Thanks for being such a wonderful inspiration to all of us!
