So if you have been following me on Instagram, you’ve seen Jose and I have made a little trip down to Texas. A lot of you have been asking why we are here & I forgot to share why so here we go! Given the sharing of our recent loss, this was a much needed trip to press the reset from the daily hustle and bustle. We love life on the farm, being with our animals, but sometimes a simple slip away gets the creative juices flowing and the mind back in the right place. This month marks a busy time, with more traveling to come, but this trips timing is perfect. So, let me explain where we are, what we are doing, and what we have planned. We are staying at the Gaylord Texan here in Grapevine Texas. We have been shopping around town and gathering inspiration, but we are also here for a very fun partnership…
We are partnering with EZ-GO helping them breakout of their main image of golf carts being only for the golf course to more of a lifestyle cart. They want us to text out the carts on the farm & we are so excited to do just that! We are here with a few other influencers and bloggers, all from different walks of daily life… And we plan on putting it to the Farm test. We are so excited to get a cart on the farm & we are excited to show you guys what we can do with it! We are able to test drive one tomorrow here in Texas… I think I’m going to fall in love!
Outside of work we have some fun plans too… I mean you know us, always doing something. The weather has been raining on & off since we have been here so we have been exploring the city and of course doing some shopping & gathering inspiration. We are also making it to a very special place to me… The infamous Magnolia Silos. A few years back I was prayed on top of magnolia, and it was such a special time for me, so naturally I am even more excited to bring Jose there for the first time. He’s never been! We will of course take you on that trip as well this week. I’m so excited to go again!!
Be sure to follow along with my Instagram stories to see what we are up to here in Texas and all the adventures we get into. Tomorrow involves riding the carts from EZ-GO around a vineyard which sounds super fun. Rumor also has it that Carter Oosterhouse will be joining us tomorrow… How cool is that?! Thank you guys for following us on all our journeys & for stopping by the blog every day to see what we are up to! xx
Wow how exciting for you guys, what a great partnership that will be….I know ya’ll will so love having those carts on the farm. Winnie will have a blast chasing ya’ll…
What store were these photos taken in? I’m in Texas, and I LOOOOOOVE those stormy gray and blue mix and match dishes… wondering how I can get my hands on them!!! Glad ya’ll are taking some time for the two of you to slip away – hope you enjoy my home state and hope Magnolia provides another great and inspiring experience!! 🙂
Hi Liz. My daughter and I are headed to Grapevine on Saturday , taking her back to college in Tyler ?❤️ ! How long are y’all there ? Enjoy your cart ride today, how fun!
Golf carts are fun to drive. I worked on a research farm years ago, tee used golf carts to get to our work zone. Just loaded up our supplies and drove out. You’ll love them!
We just bought an old golf cart this summer to zip around our little town. (Our town is super small, less than 700 people). It has been so fun! I’m sure you will enjoy yours!!
