Why not end the week with something super cozy and introduce you to a space that I mentioned in yesterday’s post about our office built-ins. So, let’s go over this again: The old office in the back room of the house is now the den [or Jose calls the study], the old dining room is now the office, & the dining room is now in the kitchen/sunroom area of the house. Got it? Confusing.. but this farmhouse has a little bit of a confusing layout. I will be sharing more the layout in better detail soon, but for now, let’s just take a peek at the den to give you a little sneak peek at this space & how it looks today…

What do we do in here? Mainly watch TV, but some naps have surely been taken in here as well. The room right now consists of our comfy Ikea sofa, a coffee table, a TV stand, our leather recliner, & another cozy chair. It’s a small space, but sometimes a smaller space with four walls can feel like a big cozy hug that you don’t want to ever leave. I will share more this space very soon, but I couldn’t go another day without showing you a glimpse into the space after hinting at it yesterday. I honestly don’t know why I had never shred it with you yet, but it’s been our cozy little secret for a while now. I hope to work on it a lot this weekend so I will share that progress with you asap… I hope this sneak peek is fun though!

What better way to start the weekend with a cozy view her eon the blog. I’m sure with the temperatures dropping drastically here we will be spending a ton of time in this room this weekend. I hope you all have a very cozy weekend & be sure to go [HERE] to see more cozy inspiration & follow me on Instagram [HERE] to see more behind the scenes of our life here on the farm. xx
Very nice and cozy!
In Great Britain, they call rooms such as this a “Snug”. I think that’s perfect – Snug! It just sounds like what it looks like…..and I think every American home needs one!!! Beautiful!
Small, cozy spaces are my favorite! This is beautiful and I love all of the pillows!
Such a cute space! We just recently bought house and I can’t wait to move in to make it our own!!
I love seeing you constantly switching rooms around and changing up your home! I love it when we get a peek at some of the rooms we do not see as often. I can’t wait to see more of the upstairs since you did all that work up there last year!
It’s so pretty!! Very nice interior home design!

I was thinking that the location of this room might be a good spot for a playroom someday 🙂
I love all your decor. Please can you tell me at which email I can reach you. Just a quick question. Thank you!
I am a new follower and you possibly have shared the color of your paint previously, so if you have or have not, I sure would like to know the wall color. Thank you and keep working – the “snug” is adorable.
Sometimes small is nice and cozy. It looks wonderful and i know you guys love your cozy little nest when its cold outside.
I love your cozy little room! Love all the puffy pillows. I love too the architectural piece above window. And….. The Windows beside the window!!! Ha ok, I love it all. Can’t wait to see more! ??
Where are those cute round pillows from?
Hello, Love this space. Could you please tell me where you got the round tan pillows? So beautiful!!
Okay, Liz …please add me to those asking about the round pillows with the pompoms!!! I love them, and since I’m in the process of adding “casual” slipcovers to my sofa and chair, I would love to find two or three of those (cost permitting, of course)! They are great ~ so big and comfy looking!
Thanks for sharing your home with us, Liz! I love everything about your decor! It’s long been my dream to have all white, but our home has lots of wood in the living and family rooms and the kitchen ~ wood that I can’t even THINK about covering with paint!
Always wishing the best for you two … stay warm and “snug” (love that name)!
So gorgeous! I love the corbel lamps!!
