Hello dry skin! I can’t be the only one that has days already this winter where you skin is flaking off your nose & your lips feel like they are on fire from the dry cold air. Don’t worry, I got you.. I’ve shared these before, but I can’t stress how amazing natural honey masks are for your body, your skin, and for your hair. You all know I’m so passionate about bees and honey & try to do my part in saving the bees, & part of that is having bees on our farm & also supporting other bee farms as well! We harvest our own honey here on the farm, but also I purchase a lot of honey from other farms around the country. I eat honey almost daily in my tea or on toast, but I also use it to make some DIY natural face masks & I can’t tell you how amazing it makes my skin look & feel. Here are four masks that I LOVE to make with honey that I do at least once a week here on the farm. From acne to anti-aging to discoloration… these masks help it all!

Let’s start by talking about why honey is so great for your skin. It’s basically liquid gold and helps with a number of skin issues. Honey is naturally anti bacterial which is great at treating & preventing blemishes. Honey is also filled with antioxidants which helps with anti-aging and preventing many signs of aging of the skin. Plus honey is super moisturizing & naturally soothing which gives your skin an instant glow.

You can also mix honey & avacado for an ultra moisturizing mask & the list goes on and on! If your skin is giving you any issues try one of these masks and give your skin some new life. I am by no means an “all natural” user in our home, but I do try to go all natural when I can & that is why I love these masks. I credit these masks for keeping my skin clear & helping me heal my cystic acne that I once suffered from. Do you use any honey masks? Let me know how you use your honey masks on Instagram [HERE]. Thank you guys so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to! xx
Where did you get those spoons?! I’m in love! They look like ones my great grandmother had ?❤️?
I left a message on you FB post. Never put a salt scrub on your face! Love everything about you but this is a major no no. No salt, no seeds… These do damage, leave small scratches on your skin. Those scratches harbor bacteria, can grow larger over time and turn into fine lines. Then moisturizer will fill this lines and it becomes a viscious circle. Been doing this my whole life and so has our family for generations.
Great skin mask ideas!
Thanks

Nice idea. Thank you
This is great! A girlfriend recommended I use Manuka Honey for a simple mask last winter when my skin went crazy showing the typical symptoms of dry skin that even my best pure cleansing and moisturizing routine could not change and it worked! I also believe in and use Turmeric in my diet, even taking capsules of it and cooking w/ it almost daily to help combat inflammation around my back issues that are a constant now. Thanks for the new addition ideas for the honey masks!
Gonna try some of these facials
