I’m really starting to get into this periscope thingy. If you aren’t on it, it’s an app like Instagram, but it’s live videos! Kind of crazy, but really fun [ You can find me by searching Liz Marie Blog on Periscope]. I’ve really been getting into it lately & I’ve been doing live videos of our house & other fun things. The other day I did a vintage haul from the store I sell it, Painted Farmgirl. I have a booth where I sell there, but I also shop there once in a while as well. It’s fun supporting other vendors & always great to support other local people. I put the entire haul on periscope & promised I would put some photos here on the blog when I used some of the items. Well, I’ve already put some of the vintage items to use in our office & I love that I’m finally getting hang things on the walls in our office. I’ve been so bad at hanging things lately & that’s not like me to be scared to put holes in the walls so it feels good! & I still need to clean and organize these bookshelves & make them pretty. Don’t judge. The office will be finished some day.
And a quick little ‘before’ photo of the empty wall..
& a little after of this little wall…
If you didn’t see the periscope, I literally just took a level, a hammer, & some nails & went at this wall. I love how the license plates fill in this spot that probably would have stayed empty because of it’s awkwardness. & I also love that the license plates were around $2 each. Such a simple DIY license plate gallery wall Here is another little vintage find I go that same day & hung in the office…
This vintage time card holder was a random find & I honestly didn’t know where it would fit in our house, but I just had to have it. Then I spotted this little spot in our office in between our closets & it fit like a glove. Love when that happens. Some people on Periscope were joking that Mr. LMB should clock in with a time card… we had a huge laugh over that & than he told me I should because I’m the one who struggles to stay on task… with life. Anyways I got some more vintage finds recently & I will show you soon what we did with those & this is just one more step to the office being done! You can see more office progress that I posted about [here]. Let me know what you guys think of my finds & I hope you had a great weekend!
