Living Room Makeover: End Table Number 1

I told you all last week that we are completely re-doig our lower level living room [ I shared a sneak peek on my @LizMarieBlogShops Instagram [here]] The whole thing started because we wanted a sectional in the space because it would fit better than the two couches that we had from our last house that we put down there. I will of course be doing a full reveal when it’s all done, but for  now I wanted to share some updates with you. Last week I found this lovely treasure that I turned into a side table in our living room makeover & I wanted to share it with you today!

The small table seriously fit in this corner so perfectly. I guessed when I found it that it would fit & for the first time ever I was right. How awesome is that? It worked out perfectly that one side of the table had a flat edge because it was cut. The table was already painted this amazing dusty blue green paint color & that was part of the charm that sold me. I literally did nothing to the piece but give it a new home. I just love that it’s not your traditional end table & that is my favorite part.

Both end tables in this living room are not conventional at all. I’ll be back this week with the other end table which is somewhat of a “DIY” end table. It’s actually a happy accident actually, but now an end table & I’m excited to show you none the less.

Ok I am obsessed with this little table. I have not styled the basement yet so I kind of just styled it with some items that are currently lying around down in the basement. I can’t wait to finish this room up & show you what it looks like. I ran into a little issue this weekend when one of my plans for wall art fell through, but I’ll come up with a new idea I’m sure & figure out what to do. What do you think of our new end table?
