This. This piece of furniture has been the hardest for me to find four our upstairs living room makeover. I spent days and nights on the computer, I spent forever coming up with plans to make our own, & nothing seemed to be “the one”. You see, when we got the two new sofas [here] I knew our DIY round coffee table we made [here] would no longer fit in the living room so we moved that big guy downstairs in our other living room which I will share soon & I was on the hunt for one to replace it. Well guys we finally found the one! My friend Jess from Jessica Co. Vintage who is also vendor at our store, The Found Cottage, brought one in to sell & when I saw it it was like I had found my coffee table soul mate. It was the perfect size, it was chippy, & it was old. Hello new best friend…
It’s cute no? The room is far from over, but what HUGE progress for me to find a coffee table finally! It’s actually an antique library table that Jess & her husband cut down to coffee table height.. pretty cool right? I love a piece with a past. & now we get to enjoy it in our home. Just for a little reference of this room for those of you who are new here or for those that forget what this room looked like before here is a little before photo. MIND YOU the room was not in bad shape at all. We just crammed our furniture in here from our last house & it didn’t really work for our needs & that is why we are refreshing the space…
Not a great before photo because it doesn’t show the whole room, but you can see the old coffee table & our bella so that’s good right? Now here is the progress with the new coffee table…
So that is how our living room is looking today. So many fun changes that are slowly happening. I love this room more and more already because we can actually use the space comfortably. Before the furniture was so crammed, but now that we are actually buying furniture that fits the space it is working so much better for us. I hope you guys love the new coffee table. I’m sure the next time you see it it will be styled differently, but for now I put some lovely cloches from World Market on it, my favorite antique corbel, a frame from Michaels, plants from Ikea, & some other junkin’ finds. I’ll be back soon with more updates on the living room very soon.. So, I’m thinking about distressing that huge antique card catalog of ours. What do you think? What do you think of our new coffee table? Let me know in the comments below!! Have a great day guys & be sure to find me on Facebook & Instagram. Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by my little blog & for sharing it with your friends & family, it means a lot!! xx

Liked your upper living room before but I love the new one! Curious what the size of the room is? Can’t wait to see what you do with the lower living next!
