Hey guys!!! Today is an exciting day here on the blog. Not because I’m here to share with you an award winning video, but because I’m here to share with you a quick video tour of our new [very old] farmhouse that I took right before we moved everything in. Ever since I announced our farmhouse [here] two weeks ago, you all have been so excited to see the inside & that makes me so happy! I am so happy that you are sharing in our joy & excitement. Thank you. Thank you for following us on this journey we are now on with our 1800’s farmhouse house & we look forward to sharing the good, the bad, & the ugly as we make this house our home. I think we can mark today as the “beginning” of our farmhouse journey as I am sharing with you a mini video tour of our home before. I want to get better at doing videos, so bare with me as I learn how to work my camera, lighting, & uploading. But hopefully this video gives you a little idea of what the inside of our home looks like before we get started working on it.. can’t wait to get started! Here is a quick glimpse at the outside of our farmhouse the day we moved in…
& here is a quick little vlog I did as a walk through of the house right before we moved stuff in. I was suffering from allergies & kind of did the video on a whim, but I really hope you get the idea of the house before we get to working on it…
Let me know what you guys think of the video & the house! I forgot to show you a few parts of the house like the walkways, porches, & outside so I will do a video of those areas soon! I will also do a full post with before photos soon for those who prefer seeing the house that way. No worries… the journey has only just begun! I hope you enjoyed the little tour & I hope you are excited for this fun journey of giving this house a little makeover & making it ours. For behind the scenes snapshots be sure to follow me on Facebook & Instagram.. xx
Beautiful home, when you put your touch on it it will be incredible !
Hey Liz, Firstly I am so excited for you! The possibilities are endless and your style is made for this home! I can not wait to follow your progress. You actually inspired me to start my own blog and I can not believe it but I have convinced hubby to be to come check out your store in November on our way home to New Zealand! Congrats again and looking forward to your future posts x
Congrats Liz!! The wallpaper and painting will be a fun job for sure, but I can’t wait to see it all Liz-I-fied!! Just beautiful!! ~Kim
Thank you so much for sharing with us Liz! Your new house looks like so much fun and has so much character! Can’t wait to see what you do with it. 🙂
Super excited for you! Can’t wait to see what you are going to do with it:) The natural light coming through makes your home look ethereal.
Love, love, love it! Cannot wait to see what all you guys do with it 🙂 Also, I thought the video was fabulous!
Wonderful project and it will look great when it’s done! You did a great job shooting the video yourself. What kind of camera did you use? It’s very smooth while you walk and there’s surround sound 🙂 We are building our house from scratch and it’s quite the journey!
So much space! That closet is amazing!. I see lots of white paint in your future 😉 I know you will make it so great and am excited to see that. Your furry film crew was very cute also- look so much like my own dog.
I am SO EXCITED to see what you do with this place! It’s going to be UNREAL! xoxo
Wow! What an amazing space. I can’t wait to see every renovation and project! I saw a few pieces of furniture during the tour: a piano, chest of drawers when you walk up the stairs, and some side tables in a bedroom. Were those pieces left by the previous owner for you? If so, are you planning on keeping them?
LOVE the potential here! So excited to see what you do with this space! I’m curious to see what you do with the dark wood work – are you going to keep it? Also love your two puppies making an appearance. Do you have any ideas on how to make two dog kennels look decent with your decor?
Hi Liz, I am excited for your family to live in such a place! Such history in those walls! Love the woodwork and it will be fun to watch you transform this jewel. Remember one room at a time though, I can see you buzzing around trying to do it all, not enough coffee… etc. Breathe the Farm air, Enjoy.
Liz, I am so happy for you and Jose! Your new home is beautiful. I watched the whole tour of the house. Wow! Yes, lots of wallpaper and carpet for sure! I really like the part of the rock wall that has the old wooden window! It has a lot of character. I also LOVE that beam above the rock wall. My husband & I don’t own a home yet, but I’ve always felt that if the kitchen is complete then I can live with the rest for a bit. Do you have a ‘first room’ too? Is there a room that you MUST have completed before the rest? I admire all of your hard work. You are such a fabulous blogger. I just know that I’ll see you on TV someday! Continue your awesomeness!
P.S. your #1 fan!
🙂
So fun seeing a tour and how the house is laid out! I didn’t see the room your were painting the trim in?
So many projects and so much potential. Happy to get to follow along and watch it all unfold.
Wishing you and Jose many happy years in your farmhouse!! xo
How Exciting, congratulations! I can’t wait to see what you do with this home. It has such potential!
I know this site gives quality depending content and other
data, is there any other site which gives these kinds of stuff in quality?

OOOH very nice. I hope you do an outdoor home tour too. 🙂 I bet the grounds are just lovely. Unless I just haven’t found it on your blog. I only check in once and a while. Thanks for sharing your style and talent and time with people. 🙂
