I blogged a little last week about my trip to Waco for the Silobration at Magnolia Market [here]. I shared a story that was pretty crazy, but I didn’t share one of the best parts of being there. I was invited to the Silobration by KILZ, the creators of Magnolia Home Paint by Joanna Gaines, & it truly was a dream come true. We have been using the Magnolia Home Paint in our farmhouse renovation [some rooms I haven’t even shared yet & need to soon!] I’m obsessed with the paint line for many reasons, but to name a few:
- There is not one bad color in the collection, all 150 colors hand-picked by Joanna are classic & beautiful.
- The coverage is wonderful [it’s a paint & primer in one].
- It’s backed by two wonderful companies [KILZ & Magnolia Home].
- & of course the packaging is to die for.
I could go on, but you get the point. Magnolia Home paint had a wonderful booth set up at the Silobration Market & I was able to come & hang out to meet people & share about the paint. At the silobration there were a bunch of booths set up of artisans and pickers alike which was so fun to experience, & having the Magnolia Home Paint booth among these fit so well. The booth was setup so that everyone at the market could experience the paint for themselves. Whether you were an expert painter or a newbie looking to get into some DIY projects or painting rooms in your home. One of the main attractions was a massive “paint by number” mural that everyone who visited the tent could participate in with the paint. It was so fun to see the mural come to life with the Magnolia Home Paint & it was fun to see everyone use the colors and find their favorites. My favorite part of the whole mural painting experience was when a beautiful pregnant girl was painting & chose her nursery color right then and there with the color she was using. How cool is that? That was the best part of playing with the paint, seeing the colors in person & getting to experience the paint in person.
Another fun thing we did in the Magnolia Home Paint booth was some pumpkin painting which was a huge hit. It was another fun way to experience the paint & get to experience the colors in person. & of course pumpkins are always a huge hit. Also in the booth there was a Photo Booth with a paint brush display backdrop that you could take your photo with to be entered to win some free paint which some lucky winners won. All in all the booth was a huge hit & it was so fun to be a part of it all. I am also SO THANKFUL I got to meet a ton of you while I was in the Magnolia Home Paint booth. It made my heart so happy getting to hug & chat with everyone & I was so grateful for each and every person that came to say hi. I don’t deserve to hang out with awesome people like you. I am forever grateful.
Seriously, working with Magnolia Home Paint has been such a joy. Today, while talking on the phone with my grandma about life lately, she explained to me the difference between happiness & Joy. She said joy was much deeper than happiness & that’s what the Magnolia Home brand is. It’s pure joy. From the people that work tirelessly for the brand, to Joanna the creator of the paint line, to the actual product itself. It’s all joy & that’s why I love supporting the product & the brand & why I choose to share it with you guys. It’s a joyful experience through and through knowing that the paint line has so much heart behind it & a designer with a style I love uses & loves every single one of these colors. I can’t wait to continue painting our farmhouse & picking out some new colors. I will be posting one of my favorite colors we have used so far in our home very soon. Have you used Magnolia Home Paint yet? I would love to hear what you think of it in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you guys so much for stopping by the blog & for always supporting me in everything that I do, it means the world to me. xx
The final mural…
*I was brought to the silobration by Kilz, but as always all opinions are my very own.
Wow ~~~ Kilz has saved us so much time and money in our renovations over the years and now partnering with Magnolia and Joanna’s style can only be a win win ! I love the fabulous marketing ideas for the event but most of all LOVE the colors! We have been waiting to save the $$ to demo our upstairs “master suite” and seeing these colors have inspired me to get started ! Thanks for sharing Liz…love you lots !
Do you know if the paint is going to be carried in stored nation wide? I like to see it in person before I buy. I don’t trust the colors to be true on the monitor. Love that paint by # mural.
Wow, how fun is that huge mural?! Looks like so much fun! i love checking joannas blog and instagram for ideas. I also loove your blog! You are blessed with some serious talent girl!
The paint brushes on the top row first and third from the left seem to be mixed up. Great display though. Huge fan
