Ohhhhh I haven’t been excited for a room in some time now. I mean, it’s been a while since I felt inspired & truly in love with an idea for a space. If you guys saw this past weekend on my Instagram [HERE] I started to add pops of color to our farmhouse… & I’M IN LOVE! It’s what I was missing here. I will be blogging soon more about the whole infusion of color all the sudden, but it has something to do with some mild depression & anxiety issues that I’m recognizing & overcoming. Wow, that was deep, but I truly am finally excited about what’s to come in the decor in our farmhouse.
Well, two days ago I blogged the beginning of our tiny half bath remodel [HERE] & today I wanted to share with you guys the mood board & inspiration for the room. As you know it’s tiny & it’s a bathroom so you we are working with a very little area, but i still want to make a big impact because when you walk in the back door you are staring directly into this room & this will be the bathroom that a majority of our guests use as there is one more full bath on the lower level, but it’s deeper into the house & you have to walk through the laundry room or a guest room to get to it. Anyways, first impressions are always a special way to tell your story, so if the first impression is a bathroom you might as well make it count. You guys, I ordered that beautiful sink. It’s the most expensive thing I’ve ever splurged on in our decor, but it will be the main focal point in this room & it made my heart skip a beat. I actually just pressed “purchase” now right before I started typing this post out & I’m hoping I don’t regret it in the morning… but look at it! I’m picturing gold frames with vintage bird prints over a white chippy shelf with towel hooks under it. I’m picturing this antique gold light fixture from School House Electric & some potted plants & cute linens to really bring the space together. We have already added beadboard to all the walls & I found an antique wooden mirror as well that I’m hoping works for the space. I also have another antique find that Im praying works & that I will be sharing with you later. But, for now I wanted to just share with you the direction we are heading in. What do you think so far?! Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. xx
Here is another bathroom I designed a few months ago for someone else…

Love, love, love it!!! I have similar bird pictures, the towel rack and flower pots in my lower level bath. Awesomeness ❤️❤️❤️
Where did you find your mirror?
This looks so good Liz. I love the pop of color in that sink- it is so wonderful! I dreamed of doing something like this in our boys powder room but it wasn’t in the budget- so I bought an inexpensive pre-fab vanity and painted it. Maybe one day we will update it. Small spaces are so much fun though- they present lovely limitations- so looking forward to how this comes together.
Love all of your choices, especially that sink!
Love your style! And how you seamlessly put everything together. Your home is beautiful I love seeing it transform! And that island for your kitchen ❤❤❤
I absolutely love that sink and how it will have the ability to transform the whole look/style of the bathroom on its own! We have the #7 lights in our bathroom from the post of “the best farmhouse style bathroom light fixtures” and also a champagne color for the fixtures and they look great together! Cannot wait to see the finished product!! ❤☺
