Y’all. I am the worst blogger EVER!! I hinted at this greenhouse being here at the farm this past summer & I NEVER shared it… who am I?! Honestly I have no excuse other than the fact that whenever I enjoyed the greenhouse it was “me time” and I was too selfish to share… well, maybe it’s not that deep & I just never had it “perfect” or cleaned up nicely. It’s my messy creative space right now, but you better believe I will share more of it soon with you when I get it all set up nicely. For now… we have it looking a little festive & a little fun & we had a night out there with some hot cocoa. We were actually hanging out in our pj’s and didn’t plan a photoshoot at night because, well natural daylight is more my jam, but in the moment I decided to do a little real life photoshoot in the dark without pretty lighting and show you our hot chocolate date in our festive greenhouse. Ps. Jose’s secret to the best hot chocolate ever? Mixing William Sonoma’s hot cocoa mix with coconut milk on the stove & topping it with nutmeg… delicious. Hot cocoa gives me all the cozy feels…
This greenhouse hasn’t reached it’s full potential or my dreams for it yet here on our farm, but it has been a cozy place to come and drink coffee [or hot cocoa]. I’ve made it a cozy place to be & to grow, but will hopefully be able to plant and grow many things for our farm soon. We came out here in our PJ’s last night when it was raining so hard & it’s such a beautiful sound on the roof of the greenhouse. We had the heater going and the hot chocolate brewing… It’s fun to come out here and sit & chat while being disconnected from the world. This weeks topic was all about our future baby. We talked about names & fun things we wanted to do with them and traditions we wanted to start when our family started to grow. We also discussed how lucky we are to have had so much time with the two of us that adding a babe now to the mix just seems so perfect. Maybe it was the hot chocolate, but my heart and soul were literally singing this night in the greenhouse surrounded by santa mugs, my best friend, and our dreams. I also laughed with Jose about how awful of a blogger I am to not have shared this space with you guys so he whipped the camera out and against my wishes took photos of me in my happy place not camera ready… but you know what? This is the woman I want my kids to see. Carefree, relaxed, in the moment, content, & happy….
Honestly I just wanted to make this little space festive and happy so I brought in many of my santa mugs among some other festive things like that stocking garland from Michaels & that red mail box I picked up on one of my trips to Tractor Supply. Those red pillows from HomeGoods add the perfect pop of red as well. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s cozy & it’s for sure got all of the festive feels in here. When you are looking at these photos I hope you can hear what we were listening to while taking them… Lauren Daigles Christmas album. If you haven’t heard it, listen to it now!
God is so good guys. I hope you see that even in the middle of a storm. He is just so good. I think our hot chocolate date night in the greenhouse is just proof that disconnecting, slowing down, & being fully in the moment with the ones you love is the true joy of this season and can really take the hectic right out of the Holiday Season for you. I hope that this post, like every post everyday here on the blog brings you true inspiration and even more so, hope & joy. Love you all & thank you for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to! xx

I love it! I never thought about decorating my green house. I don’t think mine is as big as yours! But still how cute! Thanks for sharing and the shots were great,
Your greenhouse is so beautiful! Can’t wait to see how you decorate it in the spring!
That huge Santa plant pot is giving my life! ???❤️
Being in the moment doesn’t count if you have your camera handy. Your kids will never care about photos of you until there much, much older. They usually only want to see pictures of themselves.
Greenhouse is gorgeous!
Favorite space this week!
I need to go find your orginal post of your greenhouse..
I dream of one just like it!

Thank you Liz for sharing, it’s beautifully decorated, have a Merry Christmas.
You’re stunning, the greenhouse is stunning, love every little touch! ♥️
Whatever you do, don’t become “fake” Keep it Real. Your readers know when this is a very well staged photo shoot.
Your talent in decorating spaces is incredible, but this is not a “disconnect from the phones and internet night” or you wouldn’t be taking more photos.I agree with Sandy, Living in the moment doesn’t involve a camera. It’s always best to be honest. A post asking your readers if they’ve ever thought of decorating their Green Houses, or Holiday Green House and Hot Cocoa, might have been more honest. These photos are not candid, they’re posed. Just remember your audience isn’t naïve to such things..
So pretty and festive. Merry Christmas to you and yours and as always, thank you for sharing another part of your lovely farm with us!
That’s truly not nice to say that. You don’t know her heart; only God does. It’s not necessary to say hurtful negative things. It’s just best to be quiet. Praying you find true peace in your heart. ❤️
Where is your jacket from? It looks so cozy!
Beautiful greenhouse and beautiful message!
