A Neutral Fall Farmhouse Buffet

Happy Friday! I wanted to end this busy week off with sharing a lovely little fall scene in our house in hopes that it will inspire you in some way for your fall decor. Yesterday I shared our simple fall pear mantel & today I have another little simple fall corner to share with you. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it doesn’t have to overcomplicate your fall decor for it to be lovely…

This buffet is in a corner of our dining room & it has traveled with me through three houses & was one of my favorite finds & makeovers while we lived in North Carolina. On top of the buffet I placed a three tiered stand that is in my line with Painted Fox Home, some antique cutting boards, & an antique scale as a base. I layered some faux pumpkins & greenery that I have collected from all over [You can find some faux pumpkins [HERE]]. I also layered in my vintage tin sheep, a marble stand from World Market, & a few other things that I love. Honestly I just sat here playing for a while & this was the result. Oh, & that big chalkboard above the buffet was an antique market find & that “fall” sign is from the Target dollar spot. Simple, fun, & lovely… it works.

 

I’ve actually been thinking of hanging something different above this buffet lately because I’m not the best “chalk artist” but I’m glad that I kept this chalkboard up here at least for now because I love how this sign pops in front of it & I love the contrast it adds to this layered buffet. Keeps it cozy!!

 

I hope you guys enjoy these simple little decor inspiration posts. I enjoy sharing little peaks at our house during this renovation period. I was thinking today about how this blog is always evolving and always looking so different in every season of our life. It’s so interesting to me, but I try not to overthink it because this blog is truly just me sharing what I’m up to that day & not planning or overthinking..
