This is an exciting week here on the blog!! I will be doing final before & afters of all the rooms in our home as we are now moving into our new, well very old, farmhouse that you can read more about [here] in my announcement post last week. During our move I am taking photos of each room as it looks right before we pack it up & sharing the final look here on the blog. We lived in this house
for a year & a half & did TON of work on it to update it from the 80’s tri-level it was to a modern day farmhouse style home. If you have been following my updates onInstagram [here] or Facebook [here] than you know it’s been a bitter sweet journey leaving our current home to live in our dream home, but you guys have been so amazing with all your encouraging & helpful words. Just one more reason I love sharing this journey with you guys. Today it’s all about our office/craft room. This room is in the upstairs of our home & I really used it for a lot of storage of DIY items & home decor in the closets & working on projects in. This room was well used & not always looking this clean, but this is how it looked right before I packed it up…
& here is how the office looked when we moved in…
& after we did some work…
To really update this room we added shiplap to the walls which you can read about [here], we used luxary vinyl planks on the floors, & of course lots of home decor. The card catalog, frames, & cabinets are all vintage finds. The desk is from World Market [here], the desk organizer is from Target [here], the letters are from Hobby lobby, the chairs are from Ikea, The lamps are from Pottery barn [here], the clock is from Target [here], the light fixture is from Home Depot, & the plants & containers are from Home Goods. We added farmhouse style trim around the windows to give more character & curtains to accent the large windows in the space. This room was never quite “finished”, but with our sudden big move this is how it looked with a ton of progress since the beginning.
I hope you guys liked this small tour of our sort of unfinished office. & enjoyed seeing the before & after! It’s hard packing this house up with all the good memories, but I’m excited for new things to come! Be sure to follow me on Instagram & Facebook for behind the scenes. Also, I will start sharing the new farmhouse on the blog soon after we are done moving out of this house. Be sure to stop by everyday this week for the final tour of our current home as we pack it up! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog as always, that means a lot!! xx

Liz…are you SURE you want to drag that card catalogue piece all the way to the new home? It would be much easier just to have us pick it up and bring it over to my house? Just sayin! Wishing you all the best in your move. You will miss that home but you have SOOOO much ahead of you with the dream farm house ! I am so happy that you and Jose are blessed with another dream coming true. The saying is that each generation wants their children ( nieces and nephews included) to do better than they did and to live out dreams they were not able to. Well, in this case you are moving to a home that was in my dreams and I am excited that it is coming true for you! Praying for all to go well…and remember to take time to just breathe and enjoy! Love you both !
Be still, my heart! This is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your great style – I am totally inspired!
Do you know if the clock is still available at Target? The link just sends me to general wall clocks and I’ve searched high and low on the Target site and can’t find it. Thanks! 🙂
